Seymour Library kicks-off summer reading
Seymour Library kicks-off summer reading

On June 23, the Seymour Library will host its kick-off for the 2001: A Reading Odyssey summer reading program. This program is open to children preschool to fifth grade and will officially run from July 9 to August 17.

From 10:30 to noon at the kick-off celebration, children can participate in chalk drawing, making bubbles, crafts and face painting. Children may also bring a t-shirt or socks to tie-die. If it rains, children are still welcome to sign up for summer reading from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the library.
