National country singer Lila McCann will perform in concert on opening night of the 2001 Monroe County Fair in Henrietta on Wednesday, August 1 at 9:15 p.m. McCann will perform on the Wegmans Heritage Stage in Heritage Village at the fair. Admission to Heritage Village and to the concert is free with fair admission. Tickets for a limited number of "gold circle" seats are currently available at Wegmans Video Departments for $7 plus a service fee. The Wegmans tickets include fair admission.

General admission to the fair, which includes the Lila McCann concert, can be purchased at the fairgrounds the day of the show. Tickets are $4 for adults, $3 for ages 3-11, $2 for seniors ages 60 and up, and free for ages 2 and under.

McCann's hit singles include "I Wanna Fall in Love," "Down Came a Blackbird," "Almost Over You," "With You" and "Crush." The local R&B group, Carpe DM, will open for McCann.
