Eighteen young poets in Hilton's Village Elementary School have been honored by inclusion of their poetry in an anthology, Creative Communication's A Celebration of Young Poets. Inclusion in the anthology allows the students to be eligible for further awards. The students in teacher James Dupont's class are: Ted Alexander, Jason Avery, Jonathan Bray, Karylin Coleman, Jackie Collins, Kevin Giamartino, Alexis Gruschow, Erik Gutmann, Matthew Hughson, Eric Kukura, Kristina Lotz, Shayna McAfee, Jennifer Richardson, Scott Roy, Darcey Schultz, Jacquelyn Smith, Eli Towner, Emily Viterise.
