Andrea Emens has graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in biology. Emens, a resident of Spencerport, is a graduate of Spencerport High School.


Hillary Bruton has graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in history. Bruton, a resident of Spencerport, is a graduate of Universal High School, Iowa.


Cory Przybyla has graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics.

Przybyla, a resident of Hilton, is a graduate of Hilton Central High School.


Jarinda Mendez has graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in Spanish.

Mendez, a resident of Hamlin, is a graduate of Greece Olympia High School.


Emily Hesek has graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Hesek, a resident of Brockport, is a graduate of Brockport High School.


Kathryn Goodberlet has graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester with a bachelor's degree in economics.

Goodberlet, a resident of Churchville, is a graduate of Wheatland-Chili Central School.


Kerry Blocker, of Hamlin, was one of 16 SUNY Brockport students to present her summer research at the Western New York Intercollegiate Ronald E. McNair Student Research Conference 2001 in Rochester on July 20.

Blocker, a junior at SUNY Brockport, presented "Rochester's Reaction to the Election of 1876" at the conference. The 16 McNair Scholars have been working on their projects under the supervision of faculty mentors since November. In the fall, their findings will be formally published in the McNair Summer Research Journal; in the spring, those who are still on campus will present it again at Scholars Day.


Andrea Lynn Moore, of Hamlin, has been named to the spring 2001 dean's list at SUNY Geneseo. She graduated from SUNY Geneseo in May 2001 with a bachelor of science degree in education with a dual certification in elementary education and special education. She is a 1997 graduate of Brockport High School.


Sara Edeiken, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tracy S. Lincoln of Rochester, and a student at Hamilton College, participated in a summer science research program. The program is a highly selective opportunity for students of all concentrations to experience laboratory research conducted in close collaboration with a Hamilton professor. Edeiken, a junior majoring in biochemistry, is a graduate of Hilton Central High School.


Stephanie Colombo, daughter of Anita Nagel of Hilton and David Colombo of Greece, has been named to the spring 2001 dean's list at St. John Fisher College. Colombo, a freshman, is a nursing major. She is a 2000 graduate of Aquinas High School.
