Churchville-Chili Sports Booster Club
hosts picnic August 27

Churchville-Chili coaches, athletes, families and friends are invited to attend a picnic hosted by the Sports Booster Club on Monday, August 27 at 6 p.m. This annual event welcomes junior high and high school athletes in all sports (fall, winter and spring) back to school with free food and the opportunity to socialize. This year's picnic will be at Churchville Park's East-West Lodge. Admission is free, and no RSVP or ticket is necessary.

Membership in the Churchville-Chili Sports Booster Club is $15 per family. Each membership comes with two cards that may be shown to gain free admission to Saints' home football and boys basketball games - both sports will be charging admission for the first time this year.

The Churchville-Chili Sports Booster Club exists to enrich the district's athletic program by providing support for coaches, handling logistics for tournaments, running concessions at competitions and underwriting special events such as the fall picnic, Homecoming Bonfire and end-of-the-year Sports Banquet.

The club's first meeting of the year will be September 10 at 7 p.m. in the Churchville-Chili High School cafeteria. Anyone wishing to join or learn more is invited to attend the picnic or the meeting or contact this year's president, Ron Scuteri, at 889-8164.
