Second grader wins Buffalo Bills game tickets

Matthew Thompson, son of Linda and Jeff Thompson and a second grader at Hilton's Village Elementary School, was the winner of two tickets to the Buffalo Bills vs. Seattle Seahawks game at Ralph Wilson Stadium. He won by entering the UPS/Buffalo Bills Summer Reading Program at the Parma Library, a contest open to students in grades 2-12.

Each participant filled out a scorecard for each age-appropriate book they read. Matthew's winning entry, The Cat in the Hat Comes Back, was selected by Doug Rougeux, "The Bubble Man," during his Visiting Artist Show at the library on Tuesday, August 7.

As a Bills' fan, Matthew says he is very excited about attending his first pro game. He has spent the summer biking, swimming and reading as well as fitting in a trip to the Bills summer camp where he came away with many autographs including one of his favorites, Quarterback Rob Johnson.
