•Boehly, Arthur J., Age 92, died Monday, August 27, 2001. Husband of the late Evelyn Gabel Boehly. Father of Michael A. (Patricia) Boehly, Ronald R. (Janet) Boehly, Richard N. (Karen) Boehly, James J. (Barbara) Boehly; brother of Clarence (Wanda) Boehly; grandfather of nine; great-grandfather of three; uncle to several.

A Funeral Mass was said August 30 at St. Brigid's Church, Bergen. Burial St. Vincent dePaul Cemetery, Churchville. Memorials can be made to St. Brigid's Church.


BROCKPORT

•Coleman, John C., On August 23, 2001. Predeceased by wife, Mary Louise and two brothers, Francis and Joseph. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John Patrick and Jo Anne A., Kevin Doran and Suzette C.; two sisters, Jean (Peter) Vinett, Shirley Clark; four grandchildren, John Harold, Cristin Trista, Richard Vaughn, Aislinn C. Ladd. Retired school teacher from Rochester City School District; Navy veteran of WWII; Alumni from Brockport State. Taught at Monroe County Children's Detention Center for 13 years.

CHURCHVILLE

•Woehrlen, Frederick A., August 23, 2001 at age 71. He was predeceased by his wife Natalie (Cooper) Woehrlen. He is survived by four daughters, Jean (Bernard) Grizard, Patricia Woehrlen, Julia (Brian Pienkoski) Woehrlen and Paula (Ronald) Thomas; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Marion (Charles) Dengler and Irene (Elmer) Bigelow; sister-in-law, Marilynne Sullivan; nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and a member of Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #954.

Funeral Services were held August 27 at St. Monica Church. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, Churchville. Contributions can be made to the memorial fund of Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #954.


CLARKSON

•Robertson, Leon Marcus "Mark," Clarkson, form-erly of Clarendon. August 23, 2001 following a brief illness at the age of 81. Following his service to his country in WWII Pacific Campaign from 1940 to 1945, he worked as a farmer for a time, and Eastman Kodak working as an expeditor retiring in 1982. He was a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Holley. His parents and sister, Jo Anne Kern predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maejel (Brooks) Robertson of Clarkson and their children, Susan (Thomas) Persia of Clarendon, Roy Robertson of Brockport, Anne (Thomas) Piedmont of Arizona and Rose Mary (Douglas) Catlin of Clarkson. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three brothers and a sister, Emerson (Agnes) Robertson of Florida, Bernard (Ruby) Robertson of Albion and George (Shirley) Robertson of Holley, Mildred (Jesse) Miller of Barre and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held August 27 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Memorial remembrances can be made to a charity of one's choice.


HOLLEY

•Parmele, Edward J., August 26, 2001 at the age of 50. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Linda; son, Jason; daughter, Melissa; mother, Dorothy; brothers, Arthur and Robert (Colleen); sisters, Kathleen (Bob) Thomas, Patricia (Neil) Farnsworth and Sharon (Charles) DeRuyter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernie (Kim) Scott, Bud (Mo) Scott, Walter (Deborah) Williams, Fred (Debbie) Williams, Kathleen (Shirley) Williams, Robert Williams, Deborah (Gary) Ciulla, J. Scott (Lisa) Williams and Mary (Rick) Vaccarelli, Rose Parmele; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; god-daughter, Leslie (Tim) Acord. Ed was a veteran of the Viet Nam War.

A Memorial Mass was said August 29 at St. Mary's Church of Holley. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Orleans County.


KENDALL

•Briggs, Dean D., August 22, 2001 at age 84. Husband of Helen Furness Briggs; father of Mary Ann (Thomas) Sprague and D. David (Susan) Briggs; step-father of Ann Marie (David) Gonyeau; also survived by eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Husband of the late, Janette Athoe Briggs; brother of the late Ralph, Walter and Betty Turnbull.

SPENCERPORT

•Beigel, Richard L., August 22, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marjorie J. Beigel; his son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Marianna Beigel of North Chili; three grandchildren, Ginny, Peter and Anna Kate; several cousins.

A Funeral Service was held August 24 at Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.


•Smith, Patricia K. (McBride), August 22, 2001. Predeceased by her brother, George McBride. She is survived by her husband, Raymond G. Smith; daughter, Rae Ann Smith; brother, Richard (Debbie) McBride; cousin, Barbara Zeppetella; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
