Genesee Region Home Care and Hospice will offer a special event for family members and friends whose loved one has died. Those who are interested may gather for "Grief-Walking" at Mendon Ponds Park on Saturday morning, September 22 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Facilitators will assist participants to reflect on their loss, to remember in a meditative way, and to enjoy nature's seasonal changes in the company of people who are forced to walk on grief's path for awhile.

A suggested donation of $5 will help to cover the cost of bagels and a copy of the book, Grief Walking.
