A Public Rally in Greece Canal Park on Saturday, September 29, 2001 from 2 to 4 p.m. will put a focus on the proposed soccer complex. It will begin at Millennium Lodge (241 Elmgrove Road) parking lot. Participants will then walk from the Lodge to the proposed site for the soccer complex and then to Henpeck Park (Ridgeway and Elmgrove Road). The group will then return to Millennium Lodge. There will be speakers and music.

This rally is being held by a growing body of Citizens for the Integrity of Greece Canal Park in order to increase public awareness and support concerning the county park which is being threatened by the proposed soccer complex.
