SUNY Empire State College to hold information session

Empire State College of the State University of New York will hold a public information session about its graduate programs on Tuesday, October 23 at 6 p.m. at the college's Genesee Valley Center, 1475 Winton Road North, Rochester.

Faculty members will be on hand to answer questions about Empire State College's Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree.

The college also offers master's degree programs in business and policy studies: labor and policy studies; and social policy as well as a Master of Business Administration. Students enrolled in these programs attend three weekend seminars. Between the seminars, they maintain contact with faculty and other students by telephone, computer, fax and mail.

Students accepted in the competency-based M.B.A. program will attend five executive-style residencies, with the majority of coursework completed via the World Wide Web. The program offers managers with at least five years of experience the opportunity to earn credit for graduate-level learning acquired on the job.

Those who would like more information about the session, or are unable to attend may call the Genesee Valley Center at 716-224-3200 or visit the Graduate Studies web site at www.esc.edu/Grad.
