In honoring the memory of a Hilton teacher who died unexpectedly last year, Northwood Elementary School will again remember the late teacher Len O'Lare with a benefit at the McDonald's Family Restaurant at Long Pond and Latta Roads October 22 and 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. Faculty, staff and administrators will be working the counter and sweeping the floors as the restaurant donates a portion of meals to the "Books for Len" fund. Donations are collected to purchase classroom and library sets of books for students at the school.
