Ogden appoints new assessor

The Ogden Town Board has appointed Robert Criddle as assessor for the Town of Ogden, effective October 1, with a term to expire September 30, 2006, according to Ogden Supervisor Gay Lenhard.

According to Supervisor Lenhard, Criddle comes to the town with 17 years of appraisal experience and has been affiliated with a number of professional boards and committees. His geographic area of concentration has included all of upstate New York and includes a variety of experience in assessment/tax certiorari, zoning and commercial matters. Criddle is a graduate of the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada with honors and a BA in Urban Planning. His father, Robert Criddle Sr., served many years as a Chili town council member.
