Strong Museum hosts Hanukkah Happening
Strong Museum hosts Hanukkah Happening

Spin along, sing along, and snack along at "A Hanukkah Happening" at the Strong Museum Tuesday, December 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This event is co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Federation.

Learn all about Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. See a menorah lighting. Play spinning dreidel games. Make a paper bag puppet. And see exquisite puppets created by Yelena Gandelman and a display of Hanukkah-related objects.

Folksinger Bonnie Abrams invites families to join in a sing-along of holiday favorites. Guests can also meet a very special strolling elephant, go on a Hanukkah scavenger hunt, and snack on kosher donuts and other goodies.

No reservations are required, but there is an admission fee for this event. Cost: $6 for adults; $5 for Strong Museum member adults; $4 for children (ages 3-17); free for children under 3.
