Jeremy Dawes has been named the Spencerport modified boys lacrosse coach for the spring 2002 season. This will be the Rangers first ever boys lacrosse program.

Dawes played lacrosse at perennial local power, Fairport, where he played on a sectional championship team and earned numerous individual honors. He attended SUNY Cortland, where he received his Physical Education degree and also played lacrosse. He currently teaches physical education in the Rochester City School District.

The Rangers plan to field a varsity team in the spring of 2005.
