Ogden Presbyterian Church welcomed Interim Pastor The Reverend Sharron Man. On Sunday, November 11, a covenant celebration between the Ogden Presbyterian Church congregation and the Presbytery of the Genesee Valley was led by Acting Interim Presbytery Executive, The Reverend Alan Gripe; Marlene Dyer, Clerk of Session; and Robert Wallace, Personnel and Presbytery Delegate.

The Reverend Man, in a series of questions and answers, established that a covenant is a promise of faith and practice sealed by the grace of God; that, in serving the people of OPC, she would do so with energy, intelligence and love.

The congregation responded that they acknowledged the Reverend Man as interim pastor and that they would undertake the special tasks that will be theirs in this in-between time. "We have covenanted together to do the fruitful tasks of transition that gather up all that Ogden Presbyterian Church has been, all you are now, and all that you would dream to be, into the formation of a vision that looks toward your future," The Reverend Man said.

The Reverend Sharron Man is a graduate of Fuller Seminary with degrees in theology and pastoral counseling. She has come to Ogden after a ministry in Manila, the Philippines, for the United Church of Manila.
