MCC to open legal learning resource center

Beginning in the Spring 2002 semester, Monroe Community College will open a new, $50,000 Legal Learning Resource Center (LLRC) at its Damon City Campus.

The new facility will be housed in a re-tooled lab at the downtown campus and will serve students in the college's Paralegal Studies, Court Reporting and Law and Criminal Justice programs. It will be equipped with new computer stations, specialized software for legal research, and a number of stenograph machines with practice tape and software for transcription practice. Area high school students who are enrolled in MCC's dual credit Law 101 program will also be able to use the resource center.
