Monroe County Master Gardeners
of the past 25 years sought

Plans are being made to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County Master Gardener Program. In honor of the many volunteer contributions made over the past quarter century, the 25th Anniversary Program Committee is trying to reach all past Monroe County Master Gardeners to invite them to a special luncheon on Tuesday, January 8.

During the past 25 years, over 500 Master Gardener volunteers have contributed more than 75,000 hours of their time and gardening expertise assisting area residents, working with schools, supporting community groups and answering horticulture related questions.

Past Monroe County Master Gardener Volunteers are asked to call Judy Cocuzzi at 461-1000 ext. 224 by January 2, 2002. This is a free event to past and present Master Gardeners but reservations are requested.
