Anyone between the ages of 3 and 12, who is a Newman Riga Library user, is invited to list their favorite book and why they like it. They are then eligible to enter a drawing for a holiday book.

Entrants' names, age, the title of the book, a sentence or two on why the book is a favorite and a phone number are all that are needed.

According to library staff, the generosity of an anonymous local donor makes it possible for the library to provide this drawing. It also provides the opportunity to learn about titles that mean something to patrons. One entry is allowed per person. There will be three drawings between December 21 and December 31. The lucky winners will be called to pick up their keepsake copies of books. The deadline for entry is December 31.
