ALBION

•Suhr, Doris E., 66, on December 17, 2001 at the Medina Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Suhr was the daughter of the late Amos (Cora Depoty) Charles. She was born in Albion in the spring of 1935 and resided there her entire life. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah, in 1971. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, George Suhr Sr. and their children, George (Linda) Suhr Jr. of Albion and Kim (Terry) Hellert of Waterport and her grandchildren, Ceara Ryan, Jessica Suhr and Dan Spriegel. Also surviving are two brothers, Henry (Lois) DePoty of Illinois and Charles (Carol) DePoty of Rochester; two sisters, Velma (Irving) Banker of Albion and Patricia (William) Wells also of Albion and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on December 20 at Saint Joseph's Church. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Those wishing can make memorial remembrances to a charity of their choice in her memory.


BERGEN

•Bodensteiner, Carl J., Monday, December 17, 2001 at age 78. He was predeceased in 1997 by his wife of 50 years, Marion Bodensteiner. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James and Molly Bodensteiner of Warsaw, NY; several grandchildren, cousins and many dear friends.

He was a retiree of Liberty Tool & Die Company, a Navy veteran of WW II, a member of the Bergen Fire Department, a past member of the Churchville Fire Department and he was Past President of Hidden Meadows Recreation Association.

A Funeral Mass was said December 20 at St. Brigid Church, Bergen. Interment in St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery, Churchville. Contributions can be made to the Bergen Fire Department in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Korber, Cary V., On Tuesday, December 18, 2001. He is survived by his parents, Vincent and Wilma; his brothers, Randy (Wanda), Brian and Kevin; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Graveside Service was held December 20 at the Garland Cemetery, Ridge Road, Clarkson. Friends can make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.


HAMLIN

•Hyde, Florence B., On December 17, 2001 at the age of 79. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years Carl; son, Carl (Karen) of Penfield; daughter, Pat (Rick) Preston of Brockport; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held December 19 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Donations can be made to the School of the Holy Childhood.


•Wright, Carl W. "Kay," Suddenly, December 16, 2001, at age 72. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marion (Rodas) Wright, 1992. He is survived by his children, Steven (Cathy) Wright, Gary Wright, Laurie (James) Fumia, Kim (William) Putnam and Marc (Jeannette) Wright; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his sister, "Willie" Wright; his brother, Norman (Irene) Wright; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services were held December 19 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, East Avenue, Hilton. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to St. Paul New Sanctuary Fund in his memory.


HILTON

•Bradley, Sharon M. (Kraft/Foos), Peacefully December 13, 2001 at age 59, after a long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her father, Robert Kraft. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula (Gary) Vogt; her son, William R. Foos (Amy Bradoc); two grandchildren, Jesse Lee and Jamie Lee Vogt; also survived by her mother, Shirley C. Kraft; sisters, Patricia Hauza, Virginia Burch, Carol and Sue Collamer; her brother, George Collamer; many dear friends. Sharon retired from Eastman Kodak after 27 years of service.

A Celebration of her Life was held December 17 at the Hilton United Methodist Church. Those wishing can make contributions to G.R.H.C. Hospice in her memory.


•Metherell, Charles R., Peacefully, December 12, 2001 at age 87. He is survived by his wife, Lois (Dennstedt); his children, Roger C. Metherell, Linda A. (Richard) Knab, Thomas A. (Cindy) Metherell, Mary K. (Gary) Pleasants, Daniel D. (Donna) Metherell; two brothers, William (Virginia) and Ralph (Eleanor) Metherell; his sister, Helen Campbell; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said December 14 at St. Leo's Church, Hilton. Private interment, Holy Sepulchre. Those wishing can make contributions to Rochester General C.T. ICU or VNS Hospice in his memory.


HOLLEY

•Wolf, Ruth E., 77, on December 8, 2001. She is survived by her children, Steve (Michelle) Wolf of Holley and Eileen Ryerse of Brockport; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Nancy, Wendy and Kevin; two great grandchildren, Alicia and Kayla; three brothers, Robert (Emma) Blank of California, Donald (Joanne) Blank of Holley and Albert (Patricia) Blank Jr. also of Holley and a sister, Dorothy Gosnell of South Carolina; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service was held December 15 at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall on East Avenue in Albion. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or the Jehovah Witness Hall.


SPENCERPORT

•Sheldon, Douglas G., Friday, December 14, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, June B. (Lee) Sheldon; his children, Sheryle (Theodore) Walker, Eric (Karen) Sheldon, George (Joyce) Sheldon and Clay (Melissa Perkins) Sheldon; his mother, Margaret Welch; brothers, Joseph (Joyce) Sheldon and George (Marlene) Sheldon; sister, Leona (Marvin) Hankinson; eight grandchildren; two great granddaugh-ters; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, a member of Etolian Lodge #479 F.&A.M. and Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330. He was a Marine Veteran of WWII and Korea.

A Memorial Service was held December 19 at the First Congregational UCC (The White Church), 65 Church Street, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund of the First Congregational Church in his memory.
