Workforce Development Center celebrates Grand Opening

The Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Center for Workforce Development recently celebrated the grand opening of its 15,000 square foot facility in Westview Commons Business Park at 3545 Buffalo Road. More than 100 visitors attended the grand opening including area legislators, BOCES 2 Board members and staff, community members, area businesspeople, and students.

District Superintendent C. Tod Eagle opened the celebration by thanking everyone who helped make the move a success. Staff took visitors on tours of the new building, which houses full-time career training, adult literacy, and workforce development programs, as well as full- and part-time information technology programs. Customized training programs and weekend courses are offered to meet a variety of skill needs and schedules for the working adult learner.
