Churchville congregation to celebrate sesquicentennial

The Union Congregational United Church of Christ in Churchville will spend this year celebrating its 150th birthday. Festivities will begin on February 24 with a balloon release and dedication of the restored stained glass windows, with church members dressing in period clothing. Period dress will also be featured several other times throughout the year as members participate in parades, picnics, a strawberry social, and special Sunday worship services, some featuring guest speakers.

The finale of the sesquicentennial year will be a celebration dinner on October 20 at the Whittier Road Party House.
