The Brockport Blue Devils ice hockey team used goals from seven different goal scorers to top Hilton 7-2 January 16.

Defenseman Matt Popen started the scoring at 3:06 of the first period as the Blue Devils scored six unanswered goals with two goals in the first, three in the second period and one more in the third. Hilton broke up Nick Unger's shutout bid with two goals by Jim Burgio in the third period.

Senior co-captains Jimmy Baker and Dan Holding each had one goal and two assists for Brockport. Other goals scorers were Rich Napierala, Colby Jones, Brandon Dries and Casey Balog. The Blue Devils held the Cadets to just four shots on goal through the first two periods and outshot the Cadets 31-11 in the game.

Brockport battles division rival Irondequoit January 30 and Blue Division first place Aquinas February 2.
