Flower of Hope blooms to help aid cancer research

The American Cancer Society is offering daffodils - the spring flower of hope - as special gifts for friends, family, co-workers and designated cancer care facilities. Donations will support cancer research, as well as cancer education, prevention, treatment and programs for patients and their families in this community.

Items include fresh cut bunches of 10 - $7; vases - $8; potted flowers - $8; Gift of Hope - fresh bunch with vase - $15 - delivered to a health care facility designated by the American Cancer Society.

Advance orders will be taken until March 15. Daffodils will be available for pick-up during the week of April 1 at the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester.
