Tax preparation for seniors available

Tax season is once again upon us. Help with tax preparation will be available for senior citizens in the community.

AARP will be on hand to prepare state and federal income taxes. They will be available Tuesday and Thursday mornings beginning February 14 at the Village Community Center, 59 Henry Street, Hilton. Appointments are necessary and can be scheduled at 9, 10 and 11 a.m.

An expanded number of tax preparers are available this year to accommodate the growing number of clients. There is no charge for this service, and all preparers are IRS trained. Confidentiality is assured. Call 392-9030 to schedule an appointment.
