Kendall spotted Elba a 9-point lead at half time and could not recover in a 76-54 loss January 28 on their home court.

After a first quarter that featured six lead changes, the Eagles' Christopher Rayburn knocking down six of his 11 points and a buzzer beating three-pointer from halfcourt by Elba, the Lancers outscored the Eagles 18-10 in the second stanza.

In the third quarter, the Elba lead grew to 19 points before Kendall cut it to eight points late. Elba went on a 6-0 run at the end of the third quarter and on a 23-11 run in the final period for the win.

Senior Andy Thompson led all scorers with 27 points for Elba. Kevin Hamilton led Kendall with 16 points. Kyle May came off the Eagles' bench to score 10 points - 8 in the final quarter - and Shawn Wolfgram chipped in seven with two three-pointers in the third quarter.

Kendall has three road games before hosting Pembroke February 13 on Senior Night.
