Community Chorus performs at Spencerport church

We're Gonna Put On A Show, a concert of seasons and show tunes, will be presented by the Spencerport Community Chorus on Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m. Both concerts will be held at the First Congregational Church (the Historic White Church), 65 Church Street, Spencerport. Concerts are free with donations accepted. Receptions will follow both concerts in the Fellowship Hall.

Musical selections include two Gilbert and Sullivan numbers - "Three Little Maids" and "When I Was a Lad," a medley from the George and Ira Gershwin show "Crazy for You," two rainy day songs plus George Harrison's "Here Comes The Sun," "Walk Him Up The Stairs," and others.

The chorus is directed by Margaret Page Colucci and accompanied by Margaret Johnson, with Susan McKnight and Tina Besse assisting. Rehearsals are Sundays from 3 to 5:15 at the White Church. The chorus is open to all singers and there are no auditions.
