Fairkids™ audition set

Auditions to select members of the 2002 youth dance troupe, The Fairkids™, is set for Saturday March 9 at 1 p.m. at the Dome Center located on the Fairgrounds in Henrietta. Candidates must be residents of Monroe County or taking dance lessons in Monroe County, must be between the ages of 12 and 17 and must have a grade point average of at least a B-.

The Fairkids™ dance troupe, which was begun in 2001, will perform at the Monroe County Fair as well as at other community events. Rehearsals will start in March, and the first performance of the dance troupe will be at the Mrs. New York America Pageant in June.

The Monroe County Fair has paired with Joanne Cercone Productions to choreograph and produce the show and to run the auditions.
