receives nationwide recognition

Warren "Koz" Kozireski, general manger of 89.1 The Point and communication instructor, will be receiving national honors at the upcoming Broadcast Educators Association (BEA) Festival for his entry "Wake-Up Show" promotion for the award-winning radio station. This was the first time Kozireski had submitted an entry. The show runs from 5 to 9 a.m. weekdays and provides music, news, sports and weather.

The 2002 BEA Festival of Film, Video and Media Arts is being held on Saturday, April 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Point will receive second place in the radio promotion category but will not be able to attend to accept the award.
