The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI)-Goodwill Industries of Greater Rochester, Inc., operator of thrift retail store Goodwill Fashions, has opened its first drive-in Goodwill Donation Center at 1563 Spencerport Road (intersection of Elmgrove Road). "Our new donation center is a fast, easy and convenient way for busy people to recycle unwanted clothing and household goods, help the community and earn a tax break at the same time," stated Paul Thompson, Director of Retail Operations for Goodwill Fashions.

Revenue generated from donations to Goodwill is used to fund programs, services and jobs for people who are blind or visually impaired at ABVI-Goodwill in the Greater Rochester Area.

The Goodwill Donation Center is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m. and help is available for unloading. For information call 232-1111.
