AREA

•Roberts, Clifford D., February 22, 2002 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Jim (Sue), Joe (JoAnn), John (Janet); his step-children, Ray Hill (Debbie), Bill Hill (Ann), Tim Hill (Sue), Jim Hill and Barb Foster; 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sister, Joan Saupp; brother, Donald; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held at The Interfaith Chapel of Miller Funeral Homes on February 26. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to the Henrietta Ambulance in his memory.


ALBION

•Lupo, Alice, On February 21, 2002 at the age of 90. Her husband, Gerald, predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Vincent R. (Maureen-"Moe") Lupo; grandchildren, Paul of Gates, Peter of Rochester, and Kristin Lupo of Spencerport; brother, Eugene Pieniaszek of Hamlin; sister, Dorothy Gruber of Buffalo; many loving nieces and nephews also survive her. Special thanks to her niece and nephew Sylvia and Joe Brodzinski, Jane and Bob Sadowski for their unwavering love and support. Her devoted friend Martha Zummo also survives her. Alice was a lifetime member of the St. Mary's Auxiliary in Albion.

Services were held in Saint Mary's Church with burial taking place at Saint Joseph's Cemetery. Memorial remembrances can be made to the Saint Joseph's Church Bereavement Committee, West Park Street, Albion, New York 14411.


BERGEN

•McQuatters, Linda H., On March 6, 2002. She is survived by her mother, Helen; brother, Lester J. (Lynn) McQuatters; two nieces, Kelly (Larry) Powell and Erin McQuatters; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Retiree of Rochester School District.

Funeral Services were held March 11 at Arndt Funeral Home. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in her memory.


HAMLIN

•Batty, Vincent D., March 3, 2002, age 76, in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Velma (Bauer) Batty; his children, Donna (Ronald) Ophardt, Diane (Bruce) Osterhout and Carl (Patricia) Batty; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Carol "Kel" Batty, 2001. Vin was Past President of W.N.Y. Volunteer Fireman's Association and a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services were held March 9 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Spring Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to St. John Lutheran Church or Hamlin Firemen's Exempts in his memory.


•Lynch, Helen M., Peacefully on March 9, 2002 at the age of 89. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Warren Lynch. She was predeceased by her son, Timothy (1997). She is also survived by her children, Michael (Paula), Dennis (Lavon), Mary Lynch and Patricia (John) Adesso; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her sister, Gladys (Herbert) Zimmer; also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Helen's life was said March 11 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Private spring interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials can be made to GRHCA Hospice, 70 Metro Park, Rochester 14620 or St. Elizabeth's Ann Seton Church in her memory.


HILTON

•Kuhn, Kathleen D. "Kitty," Peacefully on March 10, 2002 at age 74. She is predeceased by her husband, Walter Kuhn (1984). She is survived by her children, Larry (Chris) Kuhn, Alan (Debra) Kuhn and Chris (Robert) Meister; her brother, Dean Selke; her grandchildren, Derek and Brandon Kuhn, Samantha Wilson, Teresa and Kellie Meister; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Kathleen was a former employee of Bausch and Lomb.

•Morley, Ruth D., Suddenly, March 10, 2002, age 94. She was predeceased by her husbands, Grant Yule, George Morley and her granddaughter, Laurie Witzel. She is survived by her children, Carol (Ronald) Witzel and Grant (Kathi) Yule, Mary Loughborough, Patricia (Tom) Mailey, John Morley, Michael (Jeannie) Morley, Kathy (Jack) Wheeler and Robert (Dorothy) Morley; 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held March 16 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Those wishing can make contributions to the Open Door Mission or their favorite charity in her memory.


•Neace, Richard K., Suddenly, on March 8, 2002 at age 50. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Pam Neace; his son, Todd (Michelle) Knowles; his brothers, Dudley (Cathy) Neace, Hayward Neace, and his sister, Judy (Frank) Henley; also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

A Memorial Service celebrating his life was held March 11 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton.


SPENCERPORT

•Cole, Judith H., Monday, March 11, 2002. Judy is survived by her husband of forty years, Thomas J. Cole; her children, Terrance (Delores) Cole, Amy Cole, Andrew (Janelle) Cole, Judith E. (Douglas) Hedges, Thomas G. (Karen) Cole, Phillip Cole and Carole Cole; six grandchildren, Juliana, Joelle and Andrew Cole; Grant, Gabriel and Isaac Hedges; her mother Helen Cornwall of North Creek, NY; sisters, Nancy (Joel) Beaudin and Kate (David) Lorah; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
