Holley library celebrates national library week

The Community Free Library will celebrate National Library Week with a variety of activities. This year's theme is @ your library. The dates for this annual event are April 14-20.

On Monday, April 15 at 4 p.m. Stuart Fuchs, a musician from Buffalo, will present the program, "The Magic of Digeridu." This musical instrument comes from Australia and is one of the oldest instruments in the world. No registration is required.

Preschool Story Time will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at 10:30 a.m. The theme for this week will be "Smile Awhile."

The Great New York Read Aloud will be held on Wednesday, April 17. Read Across New York @ your library is this year's theme. Community leaders and citizens will visit and read during the 13th annual event. Short stories and poetry will be presented every 15 minutes.

On Friday, April 19, the Young Adult Club will meet for the first time. Anyone in grades 6 or older is invited to participate.

All of the programs listed above do not require any registration. Everyone is welcome to attend. For information, call the library at 638-6987.
