Bogey's Wood Fired Grill holds an annual golf tournament for charity and management at the area eatery and has this year designated a unique recipient for the event's proceeds.

On January 13, 2002 a 10-year-old boy, named David Bigelow, was killed in a car accident, leaving behind the people and things he loved most in this world. One of the things he loved was hockey. David was a member of the Tri-County Youth Hockey League. Since his death, Tri-County has developed, for the first time, a memorial fund in his name.

This fund will help to lower the cost of registration and assist in the uniform and equipment costs to make it more affordable for those who want to play and those which already do. It is a fund that will never be depleted and always available, according to tournament organizers.

The golf tournament is Sunday, June 9, at Arrowhead Golf Club wit h a prime rib dinner to follow immediately after at Bogey's.

For information about participating in this event, (donations of merchandise, gift certificates, cash; or to sign up to play) call (585) 720-0880 or stop in at the restaurant for a registration form. The deadline for registration is May 29.
