taps student curiosity

Hilton's Village Elementary School Annual Science Fair, held April 5, attracted more than 160 student participants whose exhibits ranged from chemistry and electronics to the study of ocean life, crystals, tarantulas, and human physiology. Fair Coordinator was teacher Robert Verbridge. Students were on hand to describe their experiments and displays to parents and other visitors. Among the experiments were mazes in which hamsters were timed such as this one by Tyler Sherwood and Derek Houser. Other exhibits included taste tests, hydroponics, volcanos, solar system and electricity.
