Memorial Day Parade planned in Spencerport

Ferris Goodridge Post 330 of the American Legion will be sponsoring the annual Memorial Day Parade, in the village of Spencerport on May 27. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. sharp. Marching units will gather at 8:30 a.m. on West Avenue across from Walker Bros. Funeral Home.

The parade route will begin at Union Street and Amity Street and travel south on Union Street to the Veterans Memorial Park on Union Street where a brief ceremony will be held. Marchers will then return to the parade starting point. In case of inclement weather, a Memorial Service will be held at the Legion Post, 691 Trimmer Road.
