Preparations for Spencerport Senior Bash underway

The parents of the students of the Class of 2002 are finalizing plans for the drug and alcohol free Senior Bash to be held immediately following the Senior Ball on May 31. The event will take place in and around the East Gym at Spencerport High School. The theme of this year’s party is “Survivor - In the Jungle.” Activities will include an obstacle course, “money machine,” “food challenge,” videos, basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, dancing with four high school bands and a DJ, and lots of food. This is a lock-in event beginning at 12 midnight until 5:30 a.m.

The bash is intended to provide the students a fun and safe place to go after the Senior Ball.

Local businesses, service groups, school organizations and parents have been very generous to date with monetary and food donations, gift certificates and door prize items as well as their time in planning this event. Lee and Jim Rockell at 392-7311 are still accepting donations. More parent volunteers are needed for the night of the Bash. Contact Patti Radel at 349-4128 or Denise Schweers at 352-6596 to help.
