Holley volunteers help with spring clean up

The Village of Holley's Volunteer Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 18 has been declared a success. Over 40 volunteers scoured Holley's parks, trails, and canal bank picking up litter and planting flowers in an effort to beautify Holley. Residents and several youth groups participated including the Junior Girl Scout Troop #2220, Boy Scout Troop #62, the Holley Middle School Student Council, the Holley National Honor Society and the Junior National Honor Society.

This was the first volunteer effort to clean up the village's relatively new parks and trails. Officials are considering making it an annual event.
