Cool Kids cookin' all summer long
Cool Kids cookin' all summer long

The only summer series of its kind in New York - the popular and growing event series, Cool Kids - is returning to its birthplace, Sagawa Park, Main Street, Brockport, on Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. for the fifth straight summer. This year, Director Steve Appleton is excited about a new addition - the first ever All Day Cool Kids. As part of the newly re-named Brockport Street Fair (Sidewalk Sale - July 11, 12, 13) on July 12, Cool Kids will be "shutting down the streets and having a party. Complete with loads of fun, some of which includes crafts from El Salvador, Japanese Anime' Street Art lessons, World Drum Jams, Instrument Petting Zoos, Giant Chess Sets, and something real cool" - a canned goods sculpture contest lining the streets, to benefit the Brockport Food Shelf. Mark it on your calendars," he said, "This'll be a Brockport Street Fair to remember."

Cool Kids is a weekly series, at 7 p.m. on Fridays in Sagawa Park, Main Street, Brockport. It's a program of BISCO - Brockport Integrated Service Clubs Organization and is also sponsored by a wide range of non-profit corporate sponsors and grant foundations.
