Kendall to offer before and after school child care

The Kendall Central School District will begin offering before and after school child care through Brockport YMCA beginning in the fall. The program will be held at Kendall Elementary School and is open to school age children (kindergarten through sixth-grade). The before school program runs from 7 to 9 a.m. and after school from 3:15 to 6 p.m. (2:15 to 6 p.m. for kindergarteners). Monthly fees are for full time care (four or more days per week) or part time care (three or less days per week), and financial assistance is available. Also available will be a Vacation Fun Club for families in need of child care during school holidays. The programs include sports, creative arts, environmental studies, small and large group activities, homework assistance, computers, snacks and more.

An Open House will be held Monday, June 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kendall Elementary gymnasium. YMCA representatives will be on hand to distribute registration materials and answer questions. For information call the Brockport YMCA at 637-8121.
