Brockport Rotary Gene Wood (l) installs Josephine Matela (c) as the newest member of the Brockport Rotary Club while Matela's sponsor, "Bud" Gearhart (r) looks on. Matela, who is mayor of Brockport as well as the owner of an antiques store, Tea for Two, is the club's sixth new member during this membership year. Currently, she is the seventh female member of the club, which is trying to attract more women to its membership. The other women members are (in order of membership in Rotary) Cindy Gibbons, Mary Jo Orzech, Pat Baker, Teri Abrams, Pam Young and Robin Umber. |
