AREA

Holloway, Benjamin C., Thursday, March 23, 2002 at age 82 following a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his wife Beatrice and his brother Gerald. Ben is survived by his wife Jane; daughter Kathleen (Phillip) Wolbert of Spencerport; sons David (Dianne) of Hills-boro, Oregon, Chris (Michele) of Canandaigua and Eric (Patricia) of Castle Rock, Colorado; step-daughters Marcia (John) Gudonis and Kathleen Grossman; his sister Eleanor Vanderploog; brother Stanley; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Ben was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was an avid sportsman and loved his Wolfe Lake.

Funeral Services were held May 27 at Adams Basin United Methodist Church. Interment Macedon Center Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Parkinson's Disease Center, University of Rochester, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester 14642 in his memory.


Parlato, Stephen M., Thursday, May 23, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Sandy and Sandra Parlato; his sisters and brother, Stephanie (Ray) Fournier, Katherine (Mark) Munpton, Victoria (Rob) Lallier, Sandy (Sue) Parlato, Sarla Parlato; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said May 28 at the Holy Cross Church, Lake Avenue, Rochester. Contributions can be made to the School of the Holy Childhood in his memory.


Presley, Donna (Miller), May 25, 2002 at the age of 42. She is survived by her mother, Gayle (Carl) Durst; fa-ther, Joseph (Mary Kay) Miller; maternal grandmother, Mary Simpson; brothers and sisters, Mark (Dawn), Bryan (Carolyn), Karen Miller, and Sherry Scorse; Ted Presley and their children, Waylon, Whitney and Lindsay; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held May 30 at New Comer Family Funeral Home. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery.


BROCKPORT

•Bennett, Eleanor (Bibby), N. Long Beach, California on May 9, 2002. Survived by son, Roger Bennett; daughter, Cheryl (Sergio) Chang; grandchildren, Samantha, David, Heather Magistrale all of N. Long Beach; father, Kenneth Bibby; brothers, Bruce (Jean) Bibby, Milford (Terri) Bibby; sister, Arlene (James) Hill; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held June 1 at First Baptist Church, Brockport.


Traczyk, Walter S., On May 18, 2002 at the age of 74. Predeceased by his wife, Irmgard and grandson, Scott. Survived by his partner, Judy Burkhartzmeyer; daughter, Diana VerWeire; grandson, Walter VerWeire; sisters, Julia Yenser, Frances Russotti and Genevieve Dawson; friend, William Burkhartzmeyer.

Memorial Mass was said May 25 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Main Street, Brockport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to the Dialysis Unit at Park Ridge Hospital.


HAMLIN

Watkins, James K., Suddenly, May 24, 2002, age 71. He is survived by his wife Marie; his children, James (Joyce) Watkins, Kathy (Steve) Muller, Jerold and John Watkins; eight grandchildren, Janel, David, Brett and Dillon Watkins; Dawn and Aimee Muller, Christopher and Cheri Brown; brother and sister-in-law, John (Mary Ann) Didas and Alice Gilman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Mass was said May 28 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to S.E.A.S. Building Fund in his memory.

LaDue, Stanley B., May 28, 2002, age 89. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, 1998. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bruce F. and Karleen LaDue; two grandchildren, Heather and Grant (Pam) LaDue' two great-grandchildren; a "special friend," Joan Huss; his brother, Russell LaDue; two sisters, Leona Martin, Virginia Hermann; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held May 31 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc, Hilton. Interment Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Hilton East Residential Home Recreation Fund, Hilton Ambu-lance or GRHC Hospice in his memory.


Miller, Homer R., May 27, 2002, age 84. He is survived by his wife, Dolores; his son, Scott A. Miller; two sisters, Elsie Strussenberg and Flora Briggs; several nieces and nephews. He was a WWII Army Veteran, General Electric retiree and a member of Hiscock-Fishbaugh American Legion Post #788

Funeral Services were held May 31 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing can contribute to a favorite charity in his memory.


HOLLEY

•Jones, Arthur "Art," Age 60, died suddenly May 25, 2002. Predeceased by his mother, Leanna. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children, Christine Jones of Albion, Leandrew (Kim) Jones of North Carolina, Otis (Leslie) Jones of Poughkeepsie; four grandchildren, Stacey Jones, Stephen Ellis, Courtney Jones, Cassandra Jones; father, Claborne of Albion; sisters, Roberta McDonald of Albion, Leslie Ellis of Rochester; brothers, Arris (Martha) Jones, Claborne (Sarah) Jones Jr., both of Rochester; mother-in-law, "Angie" of Rochester; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Sam Domicello of Rochester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

A Funeral Service was held May 31 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, Albion. Burial Mt. Albion Cemetery.


Olson, Joel Jr., Age 67, died May 26, 2002. Survived by his wife Shirley ("Kit"); also by his three sons, Kenneth (Holly), Michael (Lisa) and Rodney; five stepchildren, Jean (Michael) Mueller, James (Renee) DeYager, John (Elizabeth) DeYager, Jerry DeYager and Julie Olson (Mike Eckrich); 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held May 30 at Trinity Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Elmgrove Road. Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Emmanuel Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association in his memory.


KENDALL

Lemcke, Ella Mae DeLano Purucker, died January 12, 2002 of Medina Hospital. Survived by companion Bob Balton; children Lucy Miller, Ron Lemcke, David Purucker; grandchildren, Zackery and Joshua Miller; mother-in-law, Lucille Lemcke; brother, Walt DeLano, Hilton; sister Dorothy Underwood of Youngstown, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and step children; special friends Elaine Singleton, Bev Parson and Edana Allport. Predeceased by her sister Helen Jett.

Interment, June 1, in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin.


OGDEN

Breiner, Dorothy, passed away December 24, 2001 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Frank. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Jack) Beagle; brother, William (Wanda) Partridge; sister-in-law, Dorothy Wittman; several nieces and nephews.

Zubert, Francis J., Saturday, May 25, 2002, age 88. Survived by wife, Marie (Ward); two sons, Tom (Sue) and Jim; brother, George. He retired from Eastman Kodak after 39 years of service. Also retired from Gates Chili School District after 16 years.

A Funeral Mass was said May 29 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


SPENCERPORT

Creech, Dorothy M. (Adams), Saturday, May 25, 2002. She was predeceased in 1987 by her husband Rev. Donald G. Creech. She is survived by her sons Donald G. Creech Jr. of New York City and Alan (Wendy) Creech of Williamsville; her daughter Lynne (Peter) Prieto of California; six grandchildren.

Funeral Services and interment in Fairfield Cemetery, Spencerport will be announced at a later date.


Ville, Jules Rene, Formerly of Spencerport, May 9, 2002 at age 69, in Santa Clara, California, after a long battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife, Lois; daughter, Vanessa; brother, Ivan (Susan); sister, Martha (John) Pauly; many cousins and friends.
