Kendall to offer summer recreation program

Kendall Central Schools will again offer a summer recreation program for five weeks from Wednesday, June 26 to Friday, August 2, Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Kendall Elementary School. All Kendall students in grades K-6 (grade just completed) are eligible to participate.

Under the supervision of KCS staff and student assistants, the summer recreation program will consist of arts and crafts, recreational activities, skill building in various individual and team sports, story times for younger children, and some swimming at Hamlin Beach. Special field trips will be announced and a weekly trip to Hamlin Beach State Park will be on Mondays, tentatively scheduled for July 8, 15 and 22 with a final picnic trip on Thursday, August 1.

The registration fees are $8 per child or $15 total for two or more children in the same family, plus an additional fee ($1 or less ) for special trips. No summer recreation activities will be scheduled for July 3, 4 or 5. Registrations are taken at any time during the summer, however parents are encouraged to sign up now.
