become art students

After a long day of teaching, a group of teachers at Hilton High School signed up for another class ... this time with their own students as teachers. "It's nice to have the kids come here after school to help you," School Social Worker Carol Cowey said. "We've known these kids for years and it's just wonderful!" Senior Lisa Efing, standing, works with teacher Deborah Wolkenberg, left, and school counselor Sonja Livingston, right, to throw pots on the wheel in the school's art room. Teachers and students shared the time with a lot of humor, according to Art Teacher Dana Boshnack. "The teachers really appreciated this," she said. "They paid for all their materials and some of their works were excellent! It was a great way for students and teachers to better understand each other."
