earns Black Sash in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do Bergen martial arts instructor Cyndy Jones was promoted to Black Sash Instructor in Bruce Lee's martial art of Jun Fan Gung Fu - Jeet Kune Do (JKD). Jones was promoted by Sifu Kevin Seaman of Cortland, on July 2. Jones' promotion test involved her showing proficiency in the many arts Bruce Lee used; flow sparring, grappling, wrestling, boxing, lock flow, full sparring, stick sparring, and knife fighting. Jones also passed an extensive written test administered by Sifu Kevin Seaman, who has been teaching Jones JKD for five years. Jones is also a certified Filipino Martial Arts instructor under Seaman and has been training with him since 1991. |
