Teams compete in gymnastics meet

The Victors Gymnastics and Cheerleading Training Center in Greece completed its gymnastics season at the Level 4 and 5 States at Valley Gymnastics in New Hartford, New York.

The Level 4 team was led by Jade Franchuk of Greece who scored a 35.85 in the all around, including a 9.30 on the floor and 9.05 on the vault. Strong performances were also turned in by Vanessa Incardone of Greece, 9.175 on the vault; Jessica Madigan of Greece, 9.00 on the vault; Regina Lombardo of Greece, 9.05 on the vault; Danielle Pagano of Greece, 9.35 on the vault; and Megan Sheridan of Greece, 9.0 on the vault. The Level 4 team placed 10th overall in the large team division.

The Level 5 tam was led by Karylin Coleman of Hilton who scored a 35.325 in the all around, including a 9.30 on the beam which placed 11th in the state. Strong performances were also turned in by Christina Boliva of Hilton who placed eighth in the state on the vault with an 8.75. and Caitlin Fager of Irondequoit who placed third in the state on uneven bars with a score of 9.60. The Level 5 team placed ninth overall in the large team division.
