"Summer Along the Shore" new Greece Museum display

The next exhibit in the Greece Museum will be "Summer Along the Shore" circa 1900 to 1930s. The display will go up July 28 and continue through the fall. On exhibit will be old postcards, pictures of the shore hotels and Ontario Beach Park - "The Coney Island of the West" - around 1900. Also featured will be pictures of bathing suits and bathing beauties from 1900 to 1930s. A miniature Victorian seaside resort will also be on display along with a Manitou Trolley scene.
The Greece Museum is located at 595 Long Pond Road and is open on Sundays, 2 to 4:30 p.m. It is handicapped accessible. For information or to arrange tours call 225-7221.
