Byron Presbyterian "Worship in the Park" on July 28

On Sunday, July 28, members and friends of the First Presbyterian Church of Byron will celebrate the Lord's Day with "Worship in the Park" at 10 a.m. All ages are invited for prayers, praise and singing. Refreshments will follow the service. The park is adjacent to the church building on West Main Street in Byron. Chairs will be provided, but guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and search for their own shady spots in the park. In event of rain, Worship in the Park will be held inside the church. For information, call 548-2800.

The Byron Presbyterian Church wishes to thank all who offered support of food, supplies and prayers to members of the youth mission trip recently returned from the Watertown area. Eleven youth, accompanied by four adults, spent five days doing rehab and painting on four houses in Hounsefield, Evans Mills and Adams. Youth participants included: Mandy McLaughlin, Leanna Liles, Stefani Platt, Mallory Lynch, Sydney Moore, Heather Ezard, Sara George, Katelyn George, and Kim Grillo of Byron, Nate Beglinger of Alexander, and Ethan Belcher of LeRoy. The project was a joint effort of the Byron Presbyterian Church and Stone Church Presbyterian Church in Bergen.
