Tucker, Verna V., Monday, July 22, 2002. Age 81. Wife of the late Kenneth W. Tucker, mother of Terryl (David) Kinder-Bell of France and Dale (Elaine) Tucker of Byron; grandmother of two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; sister of the late Roland and Richard Vink.

Funeral Services were held July 28 at the United Methodist Church of North Chili. Memorials can be made to the church, 2200 Westside Drive, Rochester, New York 14624.


BROCKPORT

Claffey, William T., July 26, 2002 at age 76. Predeceased by wife, Shirley in 1996. Survived by his children, Cheryl (Darryl) Crane of Churchville, Shirley Mitchell of Brockport, Michelle (Terry) Stevens of Holley, devoted daughter, Heather of Brockport, William of Holley, David (Karen) of Irondequoit, Douglas (Julie) of Irondequoit and Trevor (Donna) of Rochester; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; loving sister, Margaret Claffey; many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said July 30 at St. John The Evangelist Church, Greece. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center.

Fleming, Arnold C., On Saturday, July 27, 2002. He is predeceased by his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Lorraine Fleming and is survived by his wife, Barbara; three daughters, Deborah Fleming, New Hampshire, Gail (Mike) Riddell, Spencerport, Judy (Jim) Doty, Oregon; six grandchildren, Eric, Ashley, Suzanne, David, Joshua, Johanna. Arnold was a charter member of the Brockport Rotary Club and a long-time member of the Brockport VFW.

A Funeral Service was held July 30 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Friends can make contributions to the Lakeside Memorial Hospital.


Furney, Bernice E. (Daily) (O'Brien), Bunny died gracefully at home, Sunday, July 28, 2002. Predeceased by her husband Donald E. Daily; brothers, Wayne and Mickey O'Brien; sisters, Monie Wilson, Nora Guarino and June O'Brien. Survived by her devoted husband, Joseph A. Furney; her children, Bernard and Christine Daily of Brockport, Chris and Marjorie Daily of Spencerport, Julie and Douglas Baker of Bergen; grandchildren, Donovan, Jonathan, Mary Beth, Chris, Andrew and Lisa Daily and Donald Baker; great-grandchild, Evelyn Daily; also survived by Joe's children, Jody Dermoty of Fancher, Carol and Ronald Cunningham of Fancher and Ellen and Rich Magnussen of Rochester; grandchildren, Ellen (Tony) Colofrancisco, Beth (James) Schiberlin, Eric and Ann Magnussen, Amy (Len) Barnaski; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Alex, Renee Colofrancisco and James Chiberlin; sisters, Victorine (the late Pat) Heffron. Geraldine (the late Ray) Leverez, Elaine (the late Eddie) Delaney, Sally (Frank) Schwan, Jackie (Robert) Rawling; many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said August 1 at the Church of the Nativity, BVM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.


CHILI

Ford, Earl A. "Bud," Monday, July 22, 2002, age 81. Predeceased by loving wife, Jean. He is survived by his children, Ronald (Barbara) and Ellen (Vince) Franco; four grandchildren, Carrie, Todd, Christopher and Nicholas; three brothers, Frank, James and Andrew (Virginia); two sisters, Jane Godfrey and Louise (Al) Needell; and a close friend, Vera Chapman; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He retired from Delco after 43 years of service.

Funeral Services were held July 26 at Alvah Halloran and Son. Interment Holy Ghost Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Meals on Wheels, 2180 Empire Boulevard, Webster 14580.

•Prest, Howard R. III, July 26, 2002. Age 63. A Memorial Mass was said August 3 at St. Mary's Church, Albion.


HILTON

Harris, Gregory, Suddenly, July 25, 2002, age 42. He is survived by his children, Dalton and Shelby Harris and his children's mother, LuAnn; his mother and step-father, Mary and Gilbert Harris; his brothers, Al Harris Jr. (Pam) and Korey "Tiger" Harris; his sisters, Linda (Dick) VanWuyckhuyse, Tammy (Jim) Tschiderer, Debbie (Chip) White and Jenni Harris; his step-sisters, Kathy Lake, Cindy Cappon, Beverly Rosenblatt, Lorrie Christopher, Jill "Chic" Rockcastle; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Alfred Harris, Sr., 1995 and his brother, Danny Harris, 2000.

Services were held July 30 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton. Interment Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to Dalton and Shelby Harris Education Fund in their Dad's memory.


Tran, Kieu Thi, July 24, 2002 age 83. She is survived by her children, Chu Thi Ngo, Hai Van Ngo, Thanh The Ngo, Giang The Ngo; her grandchildren, Du Van Chieu, My Trinh Ngo, Le Hoa Van, Xuan Phuong Ngo; 14 great-grandchildren.

A Buddhist service was held August 2 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton. Interment Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to Lakeside Foundation, 156 West Avenue, Brockport.


MORTON

Hurd, Irene (Renee), Suddenly on Sunday, July 21, 2002 at the age of 72 in Julian, California. Predeceased by her husband, Bob. She is survived by her children, Bill, Dennis, Brian, Delise, Rhonda and several grandchildren. Also survived by her close friends, Marion (Carpenter) Fox of Fancher. Irene was a graduate of the Ithaca School of Practical Nursing (1951). While residing in Morton, she was a school bus driver for the Kendall Central School District for 15 years. She then moved to California near her son Bill and had resided there for the past 15 years, making frequent trips back to the Fancher area to visit family and friends. Irene was a life-time member of the Hamlin VFW to which contributions can be made in her memory.


NORTH GREECE

Rickman, Frederick W., July 26, 2002 age 84. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myrtle (Lemcke) Rickman; his children, Ruth Ann (Gary) Falkner, William (Carol) Rickman; four grandchildren, Eileen and Bradley Rickman and Lucas and Jeremy Falkner; his sister, Eleanor (Dave) Berry; sister-in-law, Eleanor Rickman; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was a lifelong member of North Greece Fire Department and St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services were held July 29 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hilton. Interment Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to St. Paul New Sanctuary Fund in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

Watson, Ralph R. "Bud", Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at age 74, of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Spen-cerport. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Mildred (Hinz) Watson; children Bruce (Dawn) Watson of Palmyra, Brenda (Donald) LaShomb of Sodus, Deborah Baty of Rochester, Donald Jacobson of Rochester and Brian (Myrna) Watson of North Chili; sis-ter Martha (Arthur) Schell of Winter Haven, Florida; 10 grand-children; 3 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of William J. Schmitt Co.

Funeral Services were held Friday, August 2 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc, Spencerport. Interment Fairfield Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
