helps out with "Books for Babies" project

Brockport Middle School sixth graders raised $290 toward the purchase of a digital baby scale for the maternity department that will be purchased as part of the renovation supported by the Lakeside "Building for the Next Generation" Capital Campaign. They started with a used book drive at the Middle School and then sorted and sold them to students from the Hill School.
"Everyone was a winner here," said Mary Pittman, teacher. "Our students felt great helping out and organizing the project. Hill School students were able to get inexpensive summer reading books ... and the babies get a new scale!"
