•Pietrzykowski, Victor F., Age 80, of Bergen. Died Sunday, August 18, 2002. Husband of Jean Ess, father of Kevin, Stephen (Maria), Lawrence, and the late Victor Pietrzykowski and Lori (Thomas) Steffenilla. Brother of Alexander (Sally), Anthony (Mary Anne) Pietrzykowski and the late Edward, Bronislaus, Joseph, Walter, Stanley Pietrzykowski and Irene Goodenbery; brother-in-law of Virginia, Mary Fran, Dorothy and Mary Pietrzykowski; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was said August 21 at St. Joseph's Church, Batavia. Burial St. Joseph's Cemetery, Batavia. Memorials to Batavia Senior Center - Office of the Aging or Mass intentions in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•DiLaura, Angelo "Murph," On August 17, 2002 at the age of 74. Predeceased by his wife, Beverly (April 1999) and sons Gary (July 1997) and Robert (May 2000); half-brothers Dominic Cuttita, Thomas Minuto and Frank Minuto. He is survived by his daughter, Janine (Dale) Matteson; grandson, Matthew DiLaura and his mother, Dorothy Spirko; sisters, Celia (Donald) Klein, Lena Cuttita; brothers, James (Virginia), Joseph (Rose); sisters-in-law, Rose Minuto and Josephine Minuto; many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said August 19 at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Those wishing can donate to Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road 14620.

•Bouwens, Arie Sr., August 18, 2002 at age 62. Predeceased by son, Samuel. Arie is survived by his mother, Marie; wife, Maria; children, Hendrik (Sherri) Bouwens, Arie (Emily) Bouwens Jr., Angela Bouwens, Lee Marie (Michael) Collins, Maria (Daniel) Bouwens; sister, Jeannette (Jon) Roeleveld; grandchildren, Hendrik, Mark, James, Samuel, David and Tyler.

A Memorial Service was held August 21 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Con-tributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.


•VanHouten, Margaret, On Sunday, August 18, 2002. She is predeceased by her husband, Harold B. VanHouten and is survived by her children, Eileen (Harold) Rose, William (Sheila), Robert (Deborah) and Paul VanHouten; four grandchildren, Jamiee McFadden, Cassandra Rose, Katherine and Timothy VanHouten; three great grandchildren; her sister and brother, Grace Robinson, Anna Sietmann, Patricia Murray, Mary Burnett and Edward Corrigan; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was held August 24 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, West Fork Lake Road, Hamlin.


•Warner, Beverley E. (Hyatt), On August 18, 2002 at the age of 71. Predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Warner. Survived by her daughters, Paula (Robert) Jones, Leslie (John) Morelli; granddaughter, Jennifer Jones; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Warner; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

•Brooks, Edgar J., August 18, 2002 at age 77. Predeceased by son-in-law, John Cappello. Edgar is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Louise (Gefell) Brooks; children, Barbara Cappello, Stephen (Eileen) Brooks, William (Marie) Brooks, Douglas (Eileen) Brooks; sisters-in-law, Doris Brooks. Theresa Jonasse, Irene Gefell, Rosemary Gefell, Catherine (Richard) Flanagan; brothers-in-law, John (Rita) Gefell, Paul (Barbara) Gefell; grandchildren, April (Kevin) VanGelder, Megan, Andrew, Matthew, Adam, Lauren Brooks; great-granddaughter, Abigail VanGelder; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Edgar retired from Kodak in 1983 with 41 years of service.

•Cope, Marilyn J., August 17, 2002 at age 69. Predeceased by her husband, John. Marilyn is survived by her children, John (Jan) Cope, Marilyn (Joe) Miran; grandchildren, Tyler Cope, Zachary Cope, Justin Miran, Lindsey Miran; several nieces and nephews.

•Holzschuh, Marilyn J., (White) August 12, 2002 at age 75. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Carl; son, Thomas (Susan) Holzschuh; daughter, Karen (Stephen) Essig; grandsons, Stephen M. Essig, Eric A. Holzschuh, Brian T. Holzschuh; sister, Rosalyn O'Connor; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

•Petrilli, V. John, August 17, 2002 at age 53. Pre-deceased by his parents, John (Rose) Petrilli. John is survived by his wife, Michelle; children, Marissa and John Michael; brothers, Dick (Glenis) Petrilli, Jim Petrilli; sisters, Susan (James) Hardy, Jacqui (John) VanMeter; several nieces, nephews and the Romagnolo family.

•Seaman, Mildred E., On Wednesday, August 14, 2002. She is survived by her children, Marylin (Stephen) Maier, Charlotte (Leslie) Heagney, Sandra (Eugene) Whipple, Gerald (Joyce) Seaman; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alice Rayburn; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Wilbert; her brothers, William, Andrew and Milton Rayburn; her sister, Elizabeth Chattin; and a dear friend of 20 years, Leo Schaffer.

A graveside service was held August 24 at the Lakeside Cemetery, Moscow Road, Hamlin. A Memorial Service will be held September 28 at 11 a.m. at the Morton Baptist Church, Morton. •Foote, James F., Friday, August 16, 2002 at age 86. He was predeceased by his wife, Margery E. Foote. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Margaret and James M. Schleyer; grandchildren, Mary Ann Schleyer-Hobson, James M. (Marilyn) Schleyer, Susan (Jerry) Ramsey and Loren M. Schleyer; great grandchildren, Kiri Lynn, Ashlyn Rose and Bret James Ramsey; brother Hibbard R. Foote; sister, Beatrice (George) Mandery and Thelma Losey; sisters-in-law, Roberta Foote and Claire Rhinehart; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Delco Products, a life member of the Spencerport Fire Department, a member of the Spencerport Firemen's Exempt and Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330.

A Funeral Service was said August 19 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment St. John's Cemetery, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the School of the Holy Childhood in his memory.


•Gartz, Carl F., Monday, August 19, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, B. Hellen Gartz; five sons, Robert (Wendy), Ken (Verna), Gary (Judy), Mark (Lisa) and Eric (Diana) Gartz; five daughters Carol (James) Montgomery, Carla (Bruce) Litolff, Penny (Greg) Bennett, Peggy (Steve) Bok and Christine (Roger) Bennett; 17 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Pioneer Beagle Club and the Naval Armed Guard Association.

A Memorial Service was held August 22 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the Pioneer Beagle Club in his memory.


•George, JoAnn, Thursday, August 15, 2002 at age 61. Wife of Paul; mother of Kevin M. of Elba, Lisa (John) Orlando of Spencerport; grandmother of Samantha and Christina.
