Jimmy Baker, who represented Brockport Blue Devils Football, won the prestigious Eddie Meath MVP Defensive Player Award for the West Side Football Team, coached by LeRoy High School Coach, Brian Moran. The All Star game was held August 3 at Fauver Stadium. The final score was West 30-East 7. Baker played Brockport football this past season under Scott Hopsicker. He was 1st Team All County Player, Captain, won Ontario Honda Player of the Week and was named Honorable Mention in the All Greater Rochester Team. Baker started football at Norwich University in Vermont on August 13 and is a cadet and football player at the University. He hopes to become an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
